Norwich City will face Millwall at Carrow Road in the Championship today (August 20).

The 12pm kick-off time remains unchanged - despite it clashing with the Women's World Cup final, which England are playing in.

It's a move that's drawn some criticism from people including Rob Sainty, who's from the Canaries Trust, the sixth biggest shareholder in Norwich City FC.

He says the fixtures would never clash, if it were the men playing: "All the broadcasters and leagues knew when the final was going to be. It wouldn't have been difficult not to arrange a midday fixture on the day of the World Cup final...

"Let's be honest, if it was the men getting into the first World Cup final for 57 years there wouldn't be a clash."

The Canaries have announced they'll be showing the final ahead of the 12pm kick-off.

Carrow Road will open at 10.30am for general admission, ahead of final kicking off at 11am.

The club says coverage of the final will run in certain areas until its conclusion.
