Four Wildlife Trust bird hides in Carlton Marshes in Lowestoft have been badly damaged and left with hate symbols burnt into them.

Suffolk Wildlife Trust say they've experienced more vandalism over the past few weeks than they ever have before.

A dog has also been injured by broken glass after a window was smashed.

The Trust say the most recent incident left every window in their Moorings Hide smashed.

The Trust rely heavily on donations as they're a charity.

They're warning that funds are now being spent on repairing their sites, and staff and volunteers are spending hours making sure they're safe.

People are being asked to show their support by paying a visit to Carlton Marshes and by spreading awareness on vandalism.
