Cambs Police warn against making hoax 999 calls

Parents are being urged to make sure their children know the dangers of making prank emergency calls.

Cambridgeshire Police have received a number of hoax calls this week, including a group of children messing around and others where their call handlers were either abused or sworn at.

Officers are reminding wind ups could prevent them getting to real emergencies.
