Cambs Police report rise in lockdown breaches

They were up by 10% over the weekend.

Cambridgeshire Police received nearly 200 calls relating to covid breachess over the weekend.

They took a total of 198 calls - up 10% on the previous weekend - most relating to groups gathering in parks and green spaces.

Officers are stressing that sunshine is no reason to break lockdown rules, adding that we all have a responsibility to keep ourselves and others save during the pandemic.
