Call for key workers to get rapid covid tests in Wisbech

With up to a third of people who have coronavirus not showing symptoms, rapid testing is being promoted to key workers or those who have to work away from home in Wisbech.

The tests issue results within an hour and this group of workers is asked to get tested twice a week.

They can help to identify carriers, who can then be told to self isolate to help slow the sprad of the virus.

The Director of Pubic Health for Cambridgeshire and Peterborough, Dr Liz Robin, has released a blog highlighting their push to up the number of rapid covid-19 test being carried out in the area:
