Norfolk business expert calling for more support for business ahead of the Budget
She wants to Chancellor to help companies back onto their feet
The leader of a business support group in Norfolk says local companies need help to survive post-lockdown.
The Chancellor says he's going to use "fiscal firepower" to protect jobs when he unveils his Budget.
Rishi Sunak's expected to set out a three-point economic plan to help people deal with the effects of the coronavirus pandemic.
C-J Green, from the New Anglia Local Enterprise Partnership, is hoping to see packages to help businesses stay afloat announced later.
She said:
"What we're really hoping for, certainly from a business perspective, is a continuation of the financial support for companies and individuals that have been really impacted by lockdown restrictions - particularly, in our region, the hospitality sector.
"I think there has to be a recognition of the absolute toil this has taken on businesses.
"They will need support to emerge into this post-Covid world. And a lot of them will have just been getting on day-by-day, so they will need arms around them and some support.
