A body has been found in the search for a man who disappeared at Norfolk's Wroxham Broad almost two days ago.

The man in his 20s entered water at around 11.30pm on Friday 16th August.

A search operation has been taking place then.

Earlier today Norfolk Police confirmed they found a body at around 2.15pm today.

The body of a man has been found by emergency services searching the water at Wroxham Broad.

The discovery was made at 2.15pm today (Sunday 18 August 2024).

It follows reports a man in his 20s entered the water from a boat at around 11.30pm on Friday (16 August) and did not resurface.

Searches have been ongoing since Friday involving police, Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service and the Coastguard.

The family of the man who entered the water on Friday has been informed.

His death is currently being treated as unexplained but is not believed to be suspicious.
