The new school year starts across Norfolk this week.

Parents are being reassured it is safe for children to go back to the classroom.

The County Council has been working with other bodies and teachers to ensure the risk of the spread of coroanvirus is minimal.

Extra safety precautions will be in place at schools, including staggered start and finish times, extra hygiene measures and one way systems.

Kids ages 11 or more are being reminded to wear face coverings when on school or public transport.

Meanwhile, Old Buckenham High School in Attleborough will remain closed today(7 September), after a teacher tested positive for Covid-19.
