Family home in Beccles targeted by arsonists twice in four days

Thankfully no one was hurt and only minor damage was done

Police are investigating after a family home in Beccles was targeted by arsonists twice in just four days.

A bottle filled with a flammable liquid was thrown at the door of the house in Wolsey Terrace, Banham Road at 11.50pm on Friday 18th March.

The front door mat was damaged but the fire didn't take hold.

A similar incident was then reported at 7pm on Monday 21st March - but no damage was caused.

Police want to hear from anyone who has information about what happened.

The occupants have now left the house but anyone who sees suspicious activity is asked to contact police immediately on 999.
