A47 between Guyhirn & Wisbech re-opens after multi-vehicle crash

The A47 in Norfolk has re-opened in both directions between Guyhirn and Wisbech following a serious multi-vehicle crash.

It happened around 6am today with emergency services, including the Air Ambulance, called to the scene.

Due to the severity of the crash, the road was closed for over six hours, with diversions in place for traffic.

National Highways East said via a post on social media that "The vehicles from the earlier serious collision have been cleared and the investigation work completed".

Norfolk Police has been contacted for comment.
