The A11 is closed in both directions between the B1111 at Larling and the B1077 at Attleborough this morning due to a HGV collision.

Norfolk Police tell us the road will likely remain closed for several hours, whilst recovery and repair work takes place.

National Highways says diversions are in place, and that drivers should allow extra time for their journeys.

Road users heading northbound are advised to follow the below unsigned diversion route:

At the A134/B1107 roundabout, take the third exit onto the A134.

Continue on the A134 to the signalised junction with London Road.

At the signals, turn left into London Road and continue through Thetford to the A1066/A1075 roundabout.

Take the second exit to rejoin the A11.

Road users heading southbound are advised to follow the below unsigned diversion route:

At the A1075 roundabout, take the first exit and continue on the A1075 to the roundabout with the A1066.

At the roundabout, take the second exit onto London Road and continue to the signalised junction with A134 Brandon Road.

At the junction turn right onto the A134 and rejoin the A11 at the B1107 roundabout.
