The family of Sara Ribeiro, who died following a collision on the A11 at Ketteringham earlier this month (Sunday 3 November 2024) has issued the following tribute.

Sara's mother said: “She was my best friend and she will be missed forever. She was a loving, caring person who had so much to live for."

Sara was a rear passenger in a black Mini One which left the southbound carriageway and collided with a tree near the junction with Station Lane. At around 5.15am patrolling officers came across the car. Sara, aged 29, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the car, Sara Pancas, aged 38, was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital but sadly died two days later (Tuesday 5 November).

The families of the deceased are being supported by specialist officers and a file is being prepared for the coroner.

Two other passengers, a woman in her 20s and a man in his 30s, who were seriously injured remain in hospital in a stable condition.

Police are still appealing for witnesses.
