Queen Elizabeth Hospital treating 121 patients with Covid
Over 60 less patients are receiving care for coronavirus compared to the previous week
The Queen Elizabeth Hospital, King's Lynn, Trust was caring for 121 coronavirus patients in hospital as of Tuesday, figures show.
NHS England data shows the number of people being treated in hospital for Covid-19 by 8am on February 16 was down from 167 on the same day the previous week.
The number of beds at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital, King's Lynn, NHS Foundation Trust occupied by people who tested positive for Covid-19 decreased by 23% in the last four weeks – 28 days ago, there were 158.
Across England there were 17,093 people in hospital with Covid as of February 16, with 2,484 of them in mechanical ventilation beds.
The number of Covid-19 patients hospitalised nationally has decreased by 50% in the last four weeks, while the number on mechanical ventilators has decreased by 31%.
The figures also show that 69 new Covid patients were admitted to hospital in The Queen Elizabeth Hospital, King's Lynn, NHS Foundation Trust in the week to February 14. This was down from 90 in the previous seven days.
