Woman injured in Coventry hit and run
It happened just after 9pm yesterday.
Police are investigating after a woman was seriously injured in a hit and run in Coventry last night.
The woman, in her 30s, has sustained potentially life changing leg injuries after being hit by a car on Alderman Green Road just after 9pm.
It’s believed she was a passenger in a Seat Leon which was rammed by a BMW at the junction of Eburne Road, causing disorder to break out between the occupants of both vehicles.
The woman is then alleged to have been driven at by the BMW and possibly also hit by a Ford Focus, before both vehicles drove off.
Another woman, in her 20s, also suffered facial injuries and was treated by ambulance colleagues.
Extra officers are in the area today talking to local residents as we try to understand what happened last night and the efforts to trace the vehicles involved are on-going.
