Woman dies following Quinton collision
It happened this morning
A woman has tragically died after being hit by a car in Quinton this morning (24 June).
Police were called to West Boulevard at just before 8.45am.
A 20-year-old woman sustained serious injuries and was confirmed dead a short time later. Police say their thoughts are with her loved ones at this devastating time.
A dog she was walking at the time was also injured and sadly died.
The driver remained at the scene and is currently helping with our enquiries.
It happened between Barnes Hill and Quinton Road West and we’re keen to hear from anyone who can assist our investigation.
Police say they are particularly interested in hearing from anybody who was travelling in the area and has dash cam footage.
