A woman from Wolverhampton who won a Regional and National Award from the Prince's Trust has told us that it "changed her life".

Vicki Frost studied British Sign Language at University and took on the career to support her family.

The mum of two was searching for help to set up her own business and found help through the Prince's Trust.

She was lucky enough to go on to win two awards from the King's charity and helped her conquer what she always wanted to do.

With support and advice off the Trust, Vicki was able to create an app for the deaf community that uses sign language to help access the documents easier.

Vicki was also able to meet King Charles at an awards ceremony and said: "I remember curtsying and thinking I've got that right and he then came over and started talking to me.

"He'd obviously heard about what I was doing because his questions were very much direct to what I did.

"It's a moment I'll never forget."

Vicki also spoke to us about what support she had from the Trust, she said: "I don't think I would have been able to set up Sign Connect UK without the Prince's Trust because they allow you to pitch your idea and they make sure everything has a solid foundation.

"After all that you also get a business mentor to guide you."

Vicki now is hoping to expand her business to help more people from the Prince's Trust support.
