Two arrested following suspected hit-and-run in Birmingham
A man in his 30s remains in a critical condition.
Two people have been arrested after a man was found with serious injuries in Selby Close, Yardley, just after 5:10pm on Friday (13 October).
It is understood he had been struck by a car that then fled the scene.
Officers attended and found the victim, a man in his 30s, with potentially life-threatening injuries.
He was treated at the scene by paramedics and taken to hospital where he remains in a critical but stable condition.
Officers have been reviewing CCTV and speaking to witnesses to establish exactly what has taken place.
Yesterday afternoon, a man, 48, attended a police station and was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
A woman, 43, was also arrested at an address in Birmingham on suspicion of attempted murder.
Both people remain in police custody as the investigations continue.
