Three year old girl dies after crash in Birmingham
She was taken to hospital with critical injuries
West Midlands Police say a three year old girl who was critically injured after a crash in Birmingham has sadly died.
It happened when the car she was in hit a fence and rolled over on Church Road in Yardley on Wednesday (22nd December) night. A 22 year old woman was arrested at the time on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and later released under investigation while enquiries continue.
Tributes have been paid to the toddler and flowers have been left at the scene of where it happened.
Police are continuing to ask for anyone who was in the area at around 10.30pm to get in contact with them. People with dashcam footage around that time are also being encouraged to come forard.
The force is asking people not to speculate on what's happened.
