Three arrested over Edgbaston death

Police have arrested three men overnight following the murder of Raad Asmael, who was shot dead in Edgbaston last month.
A 24-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to murder, while two other men, aged 25 and 31, were held on suspicion of assisting an offender.
Raad, aged 27, was sadly pronounced dead after he was shot inside a car in Rotton Park Road at the junction of City Road in Edgbaston just before 11pm on 22 November.
Det Ch Insp Laura Harrison said today: “Our investigation is progressing, and we have updated Raad’s family with news of the arrests.
"It’s still really important that we hear from anyone with information about what might have happened or why.
"We want to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time and anyone who may have dashcam footage."
