Three arrested in Fidel Glasgow murder investigation

Police raided multiple addresses this morning.

Three men have been arrested in the investigation into the murder of Fidel Glasgow in Coventry.

Police raided multiple addresses in Coventry and Nuneaton at dawn this morning

21.year-old Fidel, who's the grandson of the Specials singer Neville Staple, was stabbed outside Club M in September last year.

He later died in hospital.

The trio, aged between 19 & 21 have been detained on suspicion of murder and violent disorder.

Officers say they've gone through hours of CCTV footage to try and track down who killed Fidel.

Detective Inspector Michelle Allen, from West Midlands Police’s homicide unit, said:

“We have not let up on our investigation in Fidel’s murder during the past year and, following extensive CCTV enquiries and a large number of witness statements, we have arrested three men this morning.

Fidel’s family have been fully updated with these latest developments and continue to be supported by specialist family liaison officers."
