A teenager has been charged after three people were assaulted in Birmingham city centre yesterday (19 September).
The group of friends were threatened and assaulted on Corporation Street at around 1.10am.
Officers including firearms, PD Wes and his handler raced to the scene and arrested two people nearby.
A 17-year-old boy was charged with three counts of assault and possession of an offensive weapon.
He was remanded to appear before Birmingham Magistrates Court today (20 September).
An 18-year-old man who was also arrested has been released with a caution.
West Midlands Police said: "Serious youth violence remains a priority for Birmingham and our officers are working hard to reduce crime while making our communities safer."
