Dave Pryce from Shropshire has now made seven trips to Ukraine, delivering humanitarian aid.

And for his seventh trip in March, he was inspired to make it a little different, after seeing footage of disabled children in Ukraine's orphanages.

Dave, who lives with cerebral palsy, decided to deliver trikes to spread some joy to some of Ukraine's most vulnerable.

He recalls how trikes helped him hugely as a child, both physically and mentally and helped boost his confidence.

"I became quite affected by scenes of disabled children in very overcrowded orphanages settings. I felt that I could give some support in some way."

"I started thinking about things I could do to make their lives a little bit more comfortable in terms of my life experience. I really felt that I needed to do it."

He was able to transport 21 trikes in total to three different orphanages in the country, getting the vehicles from Facebook Market place, donations and buying them through a Go Fund me page he set up.

"It was an incredible experience. I got to know the guys and learn about their stories. Having made the choice to travel over the border, I was conveniently all of a sudden content about making that scary decision."

Dave says plans are currently underway to deliver more trikes this summer.
