Around 40 firefighters stayed at the site overnight to monitor the affected areas.

Road closures are still in place and we're being warned to avoid the area. Wood Lane, Wingfoot Way and Holly Lane are affected.

A man was assessed at the scene by paramedics but was given the all-clear.

The fire broke out yesterday (17 July) around 3:20pm and had around 100 firefighters tackling it at its height. Large plumes of black smoke were visible across the city.

It's still not clear what caused the fire, but it's no one is believed to be injured.

Charity Helping Hands of Birmingham, which supports homeless people across the city, posted on Facebook: "Hoping our stock in our unit is ok but thinking we are going to have lost everything as looks like the fire was above our unit."
