Police appeal to trace family of man hit by car in Birmingham

Police are appealing for information to trace the family of a man who was hit by a car in Ladywood last Tuesday (20 April).

Paul Anthony Clough, 46, who is originally from Burnley, was crossing Wood Street, near the junction with Monument Road just after 10pm when he was hit by a car.

Mr Clough was taken to hospital with head and leg injuries and remains in a critical condition.

In a statement, West Midlands Police say they're struggling to trace Mr Clough’s family and would urge anyone with information to get in touch.

Sergeant Mark Crozier from the Serious Collision Investigation Team, said:

“Mr Clough remains in a critical condition in hospital so it’s important that we find his family and update them on his condition.

“I would urge the family of Mr Clough to get in touch or anyone who has any information on who his next of kin may be.”
