Police appeal following fatal crash in Birmingham

Officers in Birmingham are appealing for information after a man died on Tyburn Road yesterday (15 October).

Police in Birmingham are appealing for information after a man died and another was seriously injured when a car hit a tree in the city yesterday (15 October).

A grey BMW hit a tree on Tyburn Road at around 1.30pm.

The driver, a man in his 20s, was sadly confirmed dead at the scene. His family has been informed and specialist officers are supporting relatives.

A passenger in the car, in his 30s, was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

The Serious Collision Investigation Unit is investigating.
