Police appeal following collision in Birmingham in which elderly woman dies

An elderly woman has died in hospital after being hit by a car in a car park in Birmingham.

Police are appealing for witnesses to come forwards after a collision in Birmingham led to the death of an elderly lady.

The woman in her 80s died in hospital days after being hit by a car in a supermarket car park in Kingswinford.

It happened at around 4:45pm on 11 August off Bromley Lane.

The woman remained in hospital but died last Friday (17 Aug).

The driver has been helping police with their investigation.
