15-year-old boy arrested by police after teenager stabbed in Oldbury

The victim currently remains in a serious condition in hospital

West Midlands Police have arrested a 15-year-old boy in connection with a stabbing in Oldbury.

Officers were called to a property on Brunel Toad in the early hours of Saturday morning (January 4th) following reports of an altercation.

When responders arrived, they found a 14-year-old boy having suffered a serious wound from a stabbing.

Emergency services were called to the scene and the boy was taken to hospital, where he currently remains in a serious condition.

The suspect, a 15-year-old boy, was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder shortly after the attack, and remains in police custody.

Police are now appealing for information in regards to the attack, and urging anyone who may have been in the area at the time of the incident to get in touch.
