Man critical after stabbing in Dudley
It happened on High Street in the early hours of this morning.
Police are investigating after a man was stabbed on Dudley High Street this morning.
Officers were called by paramedics just after 4am, and the victim, believed to be in his 20s, was taken to hospital in a critical condition.
A section of the High Street is closed today between Vicar Street and Stone Street while investigations continue, and buses are being diverted.
Police are asking anyone with CCTV, mobile or dashcam footage to get in touch.
The attack comes after a man was fatally stabbed in Walsall in the early hours of Saturday morning.
The victim, in his 20s, was attacked by a group on High Street near Asda and died a short time later.
Officers have been using extra powers overnight in Walsall, giving them ability to stop and search people without the need for the usual grounds.
