Man charged with attempted murder in Solihull

A man has been charged with attempted murder after another man was stabbed inside a restaurant in Solihull just before Christmas.
On the 23 December, officers were called to the restaurant on Station Road, Knowle to reports of disorder.
A 47-year-old man was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
A second man was also threatened.
A man was detained by staff nearby and arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
The 27-year-old has been charged with attempted murder, attempted grievous bodily harm and possession of a knife.
He appeared before Birmingham Magistrates Court last Wednesday (3 January) and was remanded until his next court appearance.
