Man charged over Wolverhampton wedding shooting
Shamail Malik is due to appear in court today
A man has been charged as part of an investigation into shots fired at a wedding in Wolverhampton.
Shamail Malik, aged 21, has been charged with possessing an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear of violence.
He is further charged with driving while disqualified and handling stolen goods. He is due before Wolverhampton Magistrates Court today (Fri).
West Midlands Police say their investigations into the incident at the Gujarati Association on Mander Street, Merridale, on Saturday evening are continuing.
