Man charged after shooting in Erdington

The 27-year-old has been charged with firearms offences following an incident in the suburb earlier this week

A man has been charged on three counts after a shooting in Edrington on Thursday.

It follows an incident on Montague Road - with the 27-year-old holding the gun whilst banned for life.

In a statement, officers added: "We have charged a man with firearms offences following an incident in Erdington.

"Ryan Carroll, 27, has been charged with possession of a shortened shotgun, possession with intent to endanger life and possession while banned for life.

"This is following an incident in Montague Road in which shots were fired on 14 December."

West Midlands Police say Ryan Carroll from the suburb is set to appear before magistrates tomorrow (December 18).
