Man arrested in Worcester on suspicion of drug dealing
The 33-year-old was arrested in the city centre as part of an operation

Officers from Worcester swooped to arrest a 33-year-old man on suspicion of being in concerned in the supply of class A drugs today (Monday).
Police from the Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) and the Neighbourhood Crime Fighting Team (NCFT) launched a joint operation this afternoon using intelligence gathered over the weekend.
The man, 33, and from Worcester, was located and arrested just before 1pm on Monday on Angel Street in Worcester city centre.
A spokesperson for Worcester Safer Neighbourhood Team said the action follows an increase in suspected drug dealing in and around the St Andrew’s Gardens and riverside area.
He said:
“Patrols will continue in this area and others as we seek to work with our partners and the community to protect the public from the impact and harm of drugs, particularly where suspected dealing takes place near to educational establishments, licensed premises and areas popular with families.”
