West Mercia Police launch appeal following fatal collision on A44

A 26-year-old man was sadly pronounced dead at the scene

West Mercia Police are appealing for information and witnesses following a fatal collision in Herefordshire.

Officers first received reports of a crash at around 12:40 a.m. on Saturday (May 18th) on the A44 at Docklow in the north of the county.

When responders arrived at the scene, they found that a red Renault Clio had collided with a silver Skoda Fabia.

The driver of the Renault Clio - who was found to be a 26-year-old man - needed immediate medical attention, but despite their best efforts, was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.

Enquiries are currently ongoing into the crash and West Mercia Police are now looking to speak to people as they piece the events leading to the collision together.

Anyone who may have witnessed the crash, have dashcam footage from the time of the crash or anyone who may have any relevant information is being particularly welcomed by investigators.
