The West Midlands is still facing issues due to heavy rain and flooding.

There are seven floor alerts in place across Shropshire today (30 Sept), with the Rea Brook and Cound Brook, Tern and Perry catchments, and Long Lane affected.

Rail services have been cancelled between Shrewsbury and Wolverhampton because of flood water on the tracks. This is expected to last all day.

A bus replacement service is in operation while this lasts.

People are also being urged to take care around the Illey Brook in Halesowen due to flooding there. More flood alerts are in place on the River Cole and River Salwarpe.
