Fire crews tackle blaze in Birmingham

Firefighters are tackling a blaze at an old school building in Birmingham.

Crews were called out earlier this afternoon to Clifton Road in Balsall Heath.

There are currently seven fire engines at the scene - which is affecting the first floor and the roof.

Crews from Highgate, Billesley, Bournbrook, Ladywood, Hay Mills and Aston stations continue to tackle the blaze. They are being supported by drone operations.
