Fifth man charged over violent robbery in Birmingham
It follows a robbery that happened on Lozells Road, Birmingham, in September.
Police have charged a fifth man following a violent robbery on Lozells Road, Birmingham, during which the victim was allegedly stripped naked and hit before personal items were stolen.
Thankfully the victim, a man in his 20s has now recovered from his physical injuries following the incident at around 12.30am on 16 September.
On Thursday (30 Nov), officers charged Roman Ahmed, aged 23, with robbery and he was remanded in police custody before appearing at Birmingham Magistrates Court later that day.
It follows the charging in September of Mohammed Hamza Miah, 22, Saleh Ahmed, 23, Zeshan Hussain, 18, and Nadir Mohamed, 23, with robbery.
All five men are due to stand trial in March 2024.
