12 candidates will stand in the by-election on 3rd March

The 12 candidates running in the Erdington by-election have been announced.

Voters in the Birmingham constituency will go to the polls on 3rd March following the sudden passing of former MP, Jack Dromey, in January.

He had held his seat since 2010 and made was s a leading figure in the Transport and General Workers' Union.

The candidates hoping to take over from the 73 year old are as follows;
