A man has been charged with sexual assault after a woman was attacked in Dudley.
A man has been charged with sexual assault after a woman was attacked in Dudley on Friday night.
The woman in her 50s was walking down Brierley Hill High Street at around 11:30pm on Friday (8 August) before she was attacked in an alleyway near Hill Street.
She managed to fight the attacker off and escape before calling police.
Officers tracked a suspect through CCTV and arrested him on King Street following a foot chase a short time later.
Arez Omer, aged 39, was last night charged with sexual assault and exposure, and has been remanded in custody to appear before Wolverhampton magistrates this morning (11 August).
