Coventry City sign USA striker for record fee

Haji Wright comes from Turkish side Antalyaspor.

Haji Wright becomes Coventry City's ninth signing so far this transfer window, with the USA striker making the move from Turkish side Antalyaspor.

The deal has broken the clubs record fee costing 7.7 million pounds.

Beating their signing of 6.5 million pounds for Craig Bellamy back in 2000.

Back in his old team he scored sixteen goals in twenty-nine appearance last season.

The 25-year-old has also represented the USA seven times at senior level, scoring two goals and representing his country at the 2022 World Cup.

The Sky Blues play their first match of the season tomorrow, taking on Leicester City.
