Police have charged a Birmingham man with a number of offences including false imprisonment, three counts of serious assault, making threats to kill, and administering poison with intent to endanger life.

Mohammed Kazim Khan, 23, appeared at Birmingham Magistrates Court yesterday (Wed) for a first hearing. He has also been charged with causing criminal damage and burglary.

Khan was remanded into custody to appear at Birmingham Crown Court on 1 May.

It follows a public appeal where officers worked alongside charity Crimestoppers to find a suspect wanted in connection with a number of offences committed in Birmingham on 12 August 2023.
