Birmingham's Frankfurt Christmas Market returns
The festive market is back for its 23rd year!
The Birmingham Frankfurt Christmas Market is back, with millions of people expected to visit over the festive season.
Officially opening in Victoria Square today (2 November), the market runs right up until Christmas Eve with the usual array of food, drink and craft stalls.
The authentic German market is in its 23rd year in Birmingham, with the big wheel and ice rink returning to Centenary Square.
The market will be officially opened by Free Radio's JD & Roisin, alongside the Lord Mayor at 5.30pm on the bandstand in Victoria Square.

Monday – Thursday 11am – 9pm
Friday 11am – 9.30pm
Saturday 10am – 9.30pm
Sunday 10am – 9pm
With the exception of Remembrance Sunday (12th November) when the market will not open until 1pm

Will there be live music at the Birmingham Frankfurt Christmas Market?
Yes! The market's stage on Victoria Square will feature performances every day with a mix of local performers, German musicians and community choirs.
Monday to Friday 12 – 2pm and 5 – 9pm you'll hear German musicians playing a mix of traditional Christmas songs and public favourites.
On Saturday and Sunday 10am – 12pm, there'll be community music featuring schools and charities. 12 – 6pm local musicians offering a fabulous mix of instrumental, swing, soul and Christmas classics. From 6-9 pm German musicians will play a mix of traditional Christmas songs and public favourites.
