Arrests made after woman seen struggling to escape car in Balsall Heath
A woman was seen struggling to escape a car on Vincent Street on Friday morning (29 Dec).
Police have arrested two men - aged 24 and 27 - after a woman was seen in distress in Balsall Heath in the early hours of Friday morning (29 Dec).
Witnesses saw the car stop on Vincent Street where the woman tried to escape, but was forced back into the car.
It then drove off down George Street.
Officers later identified the woman who had received minor injuries during the ordeal.
The two men were arrested on suspicion of kidnap and possession with the intent to supply cannabis yesterday (2 Jan).
They have been released on police bail while enquiries continue.
