Officers from a County Lines Taskforce executed four drugs warrants across Birmingham yesterday (9 May).

The warrants took place at addresses in Heather Road, Blakeland Street and two addresses in Kenelm Road.

Three men aged 45 and a 26-year-old man were arrested on suspicion of drugs offences and remain in police custody.

A large amount of suspected class A drugs and a BB gun were also recovered.

Detective Sergeant Craig Tennant from the County Lines Taskforce, said: “We will continue to pursue those involved in the supply of drugs because we know that it causes our communities misery and exploits vulnerable people.

“We’re relentless in our fight against organised crime. These warrants form part of Operation Target, which sees West Midlands Police targeting serious and organised crime like drug dealing, burglary, cyber-crime and fraud.”
