Teenagers attacked by knife-carrying group in park
Police are investigating the incident in Smethwick
Police are investigating after two teenagers were attacked by an armed group in Smethwick.
The group of up to 12 youths - some carrying knives - attacked the boys who are aged 16 and 17 in Victoria Park, off High Street, at around 8.30pm on 26 June.
It is understood they were not seriously injured.
West Midlands Police say officers have been carrying out a range of enquiries - including reviewing CCTV in the area.
Patrols have been stepped up in the area.
