A young dad from Birmingham who died for 45 minutes is praising the doctor who saved his life
It's ahead of the NHS celebrating it's 75th anniversary.
Sarbjit Singh, 42, has been dubbed as the "miracle man" after he clinically dead for 45 minutes before one doctor saved his life.
The young dad had contracted Coronavirus in December 2020 and went into cardiac arrest.
Paramedics attended and delivered CPR and shocks through defibrillators which Sarb did respond to but persisted to have more cardiac arrests.
Once he reached Birmingham City Hospital, doctors were getting ready to pronounce him as dead until one suggested using two defibrillators in a unique technique.
The procedure worked and Sarb's life was saved.
He said: "I don't know what he was doing in the room, it was like there was an angel hovering around.
"He didn't just save my life, he saved multiple ones connected to me.
"My daughter graduated from nursery today and my other daughter had her birthday and all I can think about is that doctor that save my life. I owe him everything."
Sarb was able to see the birth of his third daughter after recovering from his ordeal and surprising medical experts after his eleven day recovery.
He was told he would never walk, talk or eat properly again and now Sarb delivers resilience talks and works at a college in Stourbridge.
He said: "What happened to me has changed my life and my whole perspective on how I want to live it."
From his life being saved by the NHS, Sarb has gone on to do charity runs and help others in the face of adversity.
