5 arrested over Lozells death while hunt continues for sixth suspect

Five men have been arrested after a man was killed in Lozells earlier this year as police also appeal to find a sixth man who is wanted on suspicion of murder.

Ekrimh Mena’a, aged 39, died after being found with stab wounds on Hunters Road near the junction of Villa Road following a disorder just before 12.25am on Monday 30 Sept.

A second man in his 20s was also seriously injured.

Five men, aged between 21 and 38 have been arrested on suspicion of murder and attempt murder from addresses in Birmingham.

They remain in custody for questioning.

As part of the enquiries Police are also appealing to the public for help to trace a sixth suspect, Dahir Ali, aged 27 who is wanted on suspicion of murder.
