The King’s Arms, in Dorchester, has featured on The Times and The Sunday Times Best Places to Stay list.

That's a rundown of the top 100 venues for a hotel stay across the country.

This is the second time it's been listed, after first appearing within weeks of its opening in 2020.

It's been a busy week for the site - they've been awarded AA Rosettes (four for accommodation, and one for food), as well as being shortlisted in the Best Hotel Category in the Dorset Tourism Awards.

General Manager, Alexis Ross, said:

“It’s been a whirlwind! The good news has been non-stop! We’re absolutely delighted. It’s testament to the huge effort the whole team puts in every single day. We couldn’t be happier.”

The Grade II listed King’s Arms, reopened in September 2020 following a multi-million-pound refurbishment by new owners the Stay Original Company.
