Woman assaulted at Poole bus station in broad daylight

Police are asking witnesses to get in touch with them

A woman's been assaulted in broad daylight at Poole's bus station, with police asking witnesses to come forward.

The victim was attacked by a man allegedly acting in an anti-social manner at around 12.10pm last Thursday (28th December).

The woman didn't suffer serious injuries.

A 41 year old local man has been arrested on suspicion of assault.

PC Alice Beavon, of Poole police, said:

“I am appealing to anyone who was in the area and has information about what happened to please come forward.

“Also, I am keen to hear from anyone who may have relevant footage of the incident recorded on a dashcam or a mobile phone.”
