Two men arrested for drug offences in Bournemouth

Several bags of suspected cocaine were seized

Two men have been arrested on suspicion of drug offences during targeted patrols by police in Bournemouth.

Officers witnessed two men believed to be dealing drugs from a car in Walpole Road at around 12.40pm on Saturday lunchtime (19th November).

The men were searched, and several bags of suspected cocaine were seized.

A 24 year old local man was arrested on suspicion of possessing a Class A drug with intent to supply.

Another 24 year old local man was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs.

Both have been released under investigation.

The stop was carried out by police in Walpole Road on Saturday lunchtime

Police also carried out further searches at addresses in the Bournemouth area.

PC Sarah Webber said:

“Under Operation Viper we have carried out a range of proactive work over recent months to disrupt the efforts of those believed to be involved in the supply of class A drugs in our communities.

“These efforts will continue and we will carry on responding to the concerns of residents, whose information helps to guide our targeted patrols.
