A restaurant at Portland Marina has announced it will be closing for good.
The Boat That Rocks will shut its doors for a final time at 5pm this Sunday. (4 December)
The restaurant is a 5 minute walk away from Weymouth and Portland National Sailing Academy, with views across the harbour.
They have made the announcement in a post on social media and have thanked all their customers and staff for their support.
In replying to a question about why they are closing, they say it's due to soaring utility bills of £174,000 a year.
There has been a big reaction from the local community who have voiced their sadness at the bar, cafe and restaurant shutting down.
The venue regularly hosted live music events and offered a separate function room.
